I agree, Pistons would probably be the favorites to take it this year.
Who do I want to be the next NBA champs? Phoenix, I think deserves it more than anyone. But who do I think it will be realistically? Detroit or San Antonio. Phoenix unfortunately will get San Antonio in round 2. If they can beat them, which they didn't do in the regular season, then they'll go all the way. If they get eliminated in the 2nd round, then San Antonio will take the Western Conference finals and it will probably be Detroit and San Antonio in the FInals with Detroit probably winning again.

The pistons are the underdogs just like in 2004. They can win it all because they have a much better team than in recent years due to:

- Getting rid of Wallace (His FT and crappy shots killed us)

- Bench has really stepped up (The Pistons bench beat the Celtics without any starters playing)

If the Pistons don't step up to the challenge then one of the following will win: 1.Rockets 2.Spurs 3.Bulls 4.Absolutely Stunned

Suns. Steve Nash is the best player in the league because he makes everyone around him better. Pistons and Suns in the finals will be a good series since they are both team oriented, but I'll take the Suns in 6.
I think in the end it'll either be the Detroit Pistons or the San Antonio Spurs.
No doubt the San Antonio Spurs because they are playing the best defense and defense wins championships. And they also have players that work together and play together.
The San Antonio Spurs will be the next champs. It鈥瞫 a very strong team, Ginobili, Duncan and Parker, with this guys it`s enough fot the ring.
It will be the Bulls (pistons are not deep enough) Vs. the Suns.

Suns will win in 5 or 6. Suns just have too much fire power from all angles and defense is much better this year than last year. Barbosa is much better, Nash is better and everyone is healthy.

It will take a miracle to stop the determined Steve Nash from winning.
Even though I'm hoping the BULLS will pull it off, I really think it's Phoenix's yr!!!!!

I do feel bad for the Mavs though. They should have won last year if it wasn't for the officals. And now this year looks like it'll end poorly.

this is one is easy pick, SUNS are going to win this year. they have all the right pieces that they need to win championship.
